Our Services

MIA provides small group level education sessions that aim to bring about the complete physical, mental, spiritual, political, social, and economic well-being of cis/trans women and girls, based on the full achievement and protection of not only women's reproductive rights, but their human rights.

Reproductive Justice & Health Policy

MIA provides an array of individual-level advocacy training focused on HIV/STI prevention, education, and treatment; which includes condom negotiation, PrEP uptake, and how to engage your provider.

​HIV Advocacy Training

MIA participates and engages in a variety of community events giving us the opportunity to provide information and resources to local Mississippians. These community events include celebrations, cultural events, school and health fairs among other community happenings. If you are hosting a community event materials contact us 

Community Outreach 

​Our Liberation Table

Liberation Table is an interactive and educational foundation to address pertinent issues which impact us daily. OLT is an interactive, discussion group about Reproductive Justice, HIV/AIDS, sexuality, pleasure, and joy. This is a way of connecting women from all walks of life and experiences to share. learn and grow with others. 

HIV/STD Testing & Counseling Referrals

MIA provides testing and treatment and referral for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV. Also we navigate individuals at High-Risk for HIV to PrEP (Pre- exposure prophylaxis), a once-a-day pill that prevents HIV transmission.

Housing Assistance Referrals  

MIA provides a variety of housing navigation services to eligible individuals and their families. Services include housing and accessibility rights education, landlord/tenant negotiations, code enforcement advocacy, help in expediting public housing applications, transfers, and referral to legal services.
